Sinead Mooney, Cabinet Member for Adults and Health

Division: Staines

Sinead is a local resident, having lived in the Borough of Spelthorne since 2004. She is married with 2 children, both of whom have received excellent educations from schools in the Borough. Sinead is an interim Housing Professional, previously working as a Head of Housing Services for a housing charity. Prior to this Sinead spent 16 years working in the housing departments at Hounslow and Hillingdon Councils.

A local activist for many years, Sinead was the chairman of a local youth charity, Staines and Egham Sea Cadets and committee member for Ashford North Residents Association. She is also an active supporter of the local campaign to include Staines railway station in the zone 6 pricing scheme.

Sinead has played a leading role in a number of local projects and community improvement programmes. Sinead has developed a keen knowledge of local issues, having served 5 years as a committee member for a residents Association.

Sinead has been a Spelthorne Borough Councillor since May 2015 and a County Councillor since May 2017. Sinead is the cabinet member for Adult Social Care and Health at Surrey County Council.

Zully and her husband Andrew have lived in the Borough for 27 years, initially in Redhill and for the last 16 years in Reigate Hill. Matt has lived in Guildford for over 12 years. He was educated locally at Boxgrove Primary School and George Abbot School before graduating the University of Surrey after studying Politics and International Relations. Matt now works for an organic food company.

Denise Turner Stewart, Cabinet Member for Communities

Division: Staines South and Ashford West

Denise has served the residents of Spelthorne as a borough councillor for four years and a county councillor for eight years. She manages a small family business, manufacturing and supplying tooling to the civil and defence aviation industry.
